
Then to Lavonia to visit the Train Depot, and the Carnegie Library. Lavonia is the smallest city to have an original Carnegie Library.

We also visited the Burgess Cemetery where it's told that a gypsy queen is buried. The site has just recently been rediscovered, however it's not marked yet. The Historic Preservation Society held it's first annual tour of the cemetery last year and will host another on April 25th complete with actors in period garb, including a troupe of gypsies!)
